Failure
…a friend mentioned something about some abandoned schools, and soon I found myself in the passenger seat of a car speeding past a sewage treatment plant with a large sign that read “WELCOME TO GARY INDIANA”.
Assisited Building Suicide
It was reported in the Post-Tribune yesterday that The Bear Brand Hosiery building in Gary Indiana is finally being demolished, though one could argue that the process started years ago after the building was vacated. Fire damage, neglect, and weather have turned this former factory into a brick shell, the wood interior collaping into itself.
